Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work in a field where I could help and support others. Trauma and adverse life experiences can have several effects on an individual, their family, and their life as a whole. I take pride in being able to provide a space for my clients to process their experiences in order to help them work towards a bright future ahead.
Over the past few years, I have worked in private practice setting and child advocacy centers across Texas, supporting children, adolescents, young adults, and their families who have experienced physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, adverse childhood experiences, and complex trauma. This experience deepened my passion for helping those impacted by trauma. My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, with a concentration of Internal Family Systems, cognitive-behavioral, and strengths-based. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) which has allowed me to meet with individuals wherever they might be in their journey and help them target their specific needs and goals. My other specialties include PTSD, life transition, coping & emotional regulation, parenting, and anxiety.
I pursued my therapy education at Texas Christian University where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and furthered my learning at Columbia University where I received my Master’s Degree in Advanced Clinical Practice Social Work. I am a Licensed Master Social Worker currently in the process of obtaining full licensure.
With my education, experience, empathy and advocacy, I’m here to best serve my clients now and any client I have the honor of working with in the future. My goal is to provide a safe and honest environment for individuals to heal, grow, and work towards their personal goals. I would love the opportunity to work with you and your loved ones as you navigate life changes- big or small.
