Depression, anxiety, grief, marital or family conflicts, they affect us all differently. That is why it is important to find a therapist you can connect with. I am an experienced therapist who has been practicing the craft of helping people for 25+ years.
I specialize in helping clients navigate anxiety and stress, relational challenges, addiction, and anger. My clients often describe me as warm and empathetic. Beyond providing a supportive environment, I equip clients with practical tools and techniques to foster meaningful and enduring positive change. I work with individuals, couples, and families utilizing a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Systems-Based & Strength-Based Couples Therapy, Dialogue Couples Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Techniques. My work is influenced by Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, and Imago Relationship Therapy.
My goal is to make your therapeutic experience feel safe and welcoming, while also providing you with positive encouragement that helps you find your own solutions for your goals. I believe that when people experience trauma or severe life stressors, it is not uncommon for their lives to unravel. Ultimately, I am passionate about helping clients cultivate self-acceptance and strengthen their relationships with themselves and others, enabling them to experience a sense of peace, wholeness, and safety, especially after stressful and traumatic experiences.
A little about me: I was born in Russia and came to America in 1978. My educational experience includes a Bachelor’s of Science in psychology and philosophy from the University of Utah and a Master’s of Science in Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy from Loma Linda University.
