Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Technique
I believe healing happens when someone feels deeply seen, safe, and not alone. My approach is warm, curious, grounded, and thoughtful; I’m steady and attentive, bringing both compassion and practicality into the room.
I tend to be a great fit for people who are willing to show up, even if they aren’t sure what they need yet, and who want therapy that is both grounded and deep. That often includes navigating anxiety, stress, burnout, grief, or life transitions, exploring repeating patterns in relationships, and moving from “I’m stuck” to “I have choices,” and from self‑criticism to self‑compassion.
I create a supportive, steady space where we can explore hard things without rushing or forcing, and people often tell me they feel safe, understood, and not judged—which helps them be honest and makes therapy more effective. Having worked for many years in corporate and tech, I understand the toll of nervous‑system stress and burnout, and I draw on my background as a certified professional dog trainer to stay attuned to behavior, safety, consent, and how protective patterns show up in the body. I am a currently pursuing my Masters in Clinical Mental Health from Naropa University - Buddist Inspired Contemplative Education.
I believe people have an innate goodness and wholeness beneath their protections, and therapy is often about helping those soften so you can live with more choice, freedom, and self‑compassion. I hold therapy as both practical and sacred, integrating mindfulness and somatic awareness so change can include the whole system, not just the thinking mind, and I try to meet each client with beginner’s mind—openness, curiosity, and humility.
